The MadeBig site is intended to be a place where members can spend their time creating, sharing and connecting with other members on the site. We at MadeBig are committed to making our site a safe and fun place for all our users, which is why we implement specific rules for the use of our site. Children under 13 years of age are not permitted to access or register on the MadeBig site and any person under 18 years of age should receive a parent’s (or guardian’s) consent before joining the site. The team at MadeBig is continuously working to make sure we have the best precautions and systems in place to help us detect and remove inappropriate content and users.
However, despite our continual efforts, MadeBig cannot ensure that our site is completely free of inappropriate material and/or conduct and there is a possibility that you may be exposed to said content. Again, we will do our best to maintain the quality of our site’s content and members but if there is an instance in which you come in contact with inappropriate material and/or conduct, we strongly encourage you to inform us by clicking on the “Report” link on the page. MadeBig reviews all reports individually and you will be notified that we have received your report as well as any action that has been taken. We request that you follow this procedure first as the reports will automatically be directed through the proper channels; however, if you are unable to file a report, you may alert MadeBig of inappropriate material and/or conduct by contacting us at Customer Service.
We at MadeBig also want to remind you that although we strongly discourage the use of pseudonyms, aliases or fake names on our site, we cannot stress enough that not everyone may be who they say they are. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution with Friend requests for members you do not know in real life. We also believe that it is unwise to meet any person whom you do not know either through personal contact outside of MadeBig or through friends.
When using the MadeBig site, we encourage you to keep the follow safety tips in mind:
• Never give out your password to the MadeBig site.
• Always log out when you are finished or even if you intend to be away from the computer for an extended period of time. If you do not log out of your account, anyone who uses that computer to access the MadeBig site will be able to see all of your information. MadeBig does have a session time out in place that will automatically log you out of the site if you are not active for a period of time in an effort to ensure that you are the only one who accesses your account.
• Make sure you adjust your Privacy Settings when you first join the site and make sure they always reflect your level of comfort. MadeBig defaults your Privacy Settings to what we believe is an acceptable level, but you may change it at any time.
• Be cautious about posting identifiable information (i.e. telephone number or address) in public areas (such as Forums or Shout Outs) since you may not have direct control over who may view that content.
• Review the MadeBig Terms of Service and report any material and/or conduct that violates these terms or e-mail us at customerservice@madebig.com.
