EditProfile
Your profile contains all the information about you that your friends can see. You can easily restrict your profile by setting privacy settings.
How do I edit my profile?
To edit your profile, click on the My Account link and then select the Edit Profile link. In that area, you are able to edit your basic, personal, educational and work information as well as change your profile picture. You can also change your Profile information by clicking the Edit Profile link on your Profile page.
What if there is information on my profile that I don’t want some people to see?
You can adjust your privacy settings by going to Account Settings and then clicking on the Privacy Settings link. From there, you can adjust your profile, search and blocked members’ settings. It’s up to you how much information you want viewable on your profile.
How can I view my own profile?
To view your own profile, just click on the profile link on the top left hand side of the page and that will take you to your profile.
How do I upload a profile image?
You can upload any image from your computer to use as a profile image. Simply:
1. Go to My Account
2. Click on the Edit Profile link
3. Click on the Picture link
4. Click on the Upload button
5. Browse your computer and locate the image you want to use as your profile picture
6. Click on Upload
7. Click on Next
9. Click Save
How can I manage and change my Profile?To choose what Gadget boxes you would like to display on your profile click on Edit Gadgets on the right side of your Profile page or by clicking on My Account, Edit Profile and then Gadgets. Here you can select what Gadgets you would like to display by checking each box. Some of the Gadgets are grayed out because these Gadgets will always display on your Profile.
You can also remove Gadgets from your profile page by clicking on the X on each Gadget. If there is content in the Gadget you are removing you will not loose that information but to access that information again you must click Manage Gadgets and check the box for it to display on your profile.
You can also change the look of your Profile by clicking and dragging each Gadget to the spot where you would like it to appear.
You can also choose how many pictures you would like to display on your profile page by click on the down arrow on the pictures gadget on your profile.
The sort from newest to oldest or oldest to newest displays Galleries in the order you choose inside the Gadget. This does not change the order of pictures inside each Gallery.
