MadeBig Groups are a great way to meet new people. Members of groups can share photos, discuss topics and events. Members can create new groups or find a group to join. Stay caught up on your Groups by checking the Group Statistics. Now you can see:
- # of Shout Outs
- # of Members
- # of Forums
- # of Photos
and
- # of New Members
- # of New Shout Outs
- # of New Forums
- # of New Photos
How do I find and join a Group?
You can join any public group. Groups can be found using the Search feature or Browse all groups in a certain category. When you find a group you are interested in click on the Join Group link on the right side of the screen. Private Groups require an invitation from the Group Creator or Administrator.
How many groups can I join?
There is currently no limit to the number of Groups you can join.
How do I leave a Group?
Locate the Group you wish to leave and click on Leave Group. If you have created the Group you wish to leave please be advised that the entire group will be disbanded.
How do I create a Group?
You can create a new Group by clicking on the Create New Group icon on the Groups page. Complete the group registration and settings and you have created a group.
How do I edit my Group?
To edit the Group Settings you must be a Group Administrator. Click on Manage Group at the top of the page, under Group Details you can change the settings and existing Group information and picture. Remember all settings default to Admin Only. If you would like for members to add content to your Group you must adjust the settings.
How do I delete a group?
Only the Group Creator or Administrator can delete a group. To delete a group locate the group and click on the Disband Group link. The Group will be removed from the site as well as all users removed from the Group.
How do I add photos to a group?
The Group Creator or Administrator can choose to allow photos to be posted. Administrators also have the ability to remove any photo.

What is the Group Shout Out?
The Shout Out is an open discussion for group members.
What is the Group Forum?
The Group Forum is a threaded conversation for specific topics. Here on the Forum Group members can create a new topic for discussion or give a response to an existing topic. The Forum is not private, all members of the Group and other users can view these topics.
How do I post a link?
Posting links is easy! All you have to do is go to the web site that you want to post, copy that web site’s URL and paste it in your Post a Link gadget. Click the Post a Link button and you’ll be directed to the Post a Link form. Here can you change the title and description of the link as well as add your comments and choose what image you want to see with this link. Verify all this information is correct, click Submit and you’re done! You can do this in both your Profile page and Groups. Click here for more information on
Posting LinksHow do I invite my friends to a Group?
To invite your friends click on the Invite Friend link on the right side of the page. Click on Invite next to each Friend you would like to invite. A Group invitation will be sent to them to accept.
If you are a Group Admin or Group Creator you can invite friends by clicking on the Manage Group link on the right side of the page. Click on Invite Friends to start sending invites to all your friends.
Why can't I see an Invite Friend link?
If a Group is Private only the Group Creator or Group Admins can invite other members.
What is the Ban Member link?
Only the Group Creator can Ban Members from a Group. To do so, click on Manage Group and Group Members. Locate the member you wish to Ban and click on Ban Member. To remove the Ban follow the same steps and click on un-ban member. This will ban a member from viewing content or adding content to a group.
What happens if I was Banned from a Group?
The Group will still appear in your Group list however, you will not be able to access the Group content.
