What are Posted Links?
Want to share a news story, video, or great site with your friends? Add a link to the Posted Links Gadget on your Profile Page. Don't forget to check out and comment on the Links your Friends are sharing on their Profile pages.
How do I post a link?
Posting links is easy! All you have to do is go to the web site that you want to post, copy that web site’s URL and paste it in your Post a Link gadget. Click the Post a Link button and you’ll be directed to the Post a Link form. Here can you change the title and description of the link as well as add your comments and choose what image you want to see with this link. If you agree to this link being shared be sure to click the box giving permission for other users to share this link with MadeBig members. Verify all this information is correct, click Submit and you’re done! You can do this in both your Profile page and Groups.
What kind of videos are supported?
We are supporting most of the major video sites such as Google, MySpace, MetaCafe and YouTube. So take a look at the popular video sites: MetaCafe (http://www.metacafe.com/)and YouTube (http://youtube.com/) – find the video that you want to share, copy the URL and post it! How awesome is that?!
How do I delete a Posted Link?
To delete a Posted Link you have added to your Profile click the See All button on the Posted Link gadget. You will be directed to a page displaying all of your Posted Links. On the right side there is a Delete button. You must delete each Posted Link individually.
How do I edit a Posted Link?
To edit a Posted Link you have added to your Profile click the See All button on the Posted Link gadget. You will be directed to a page displaying all of your Posted Links. On the right side there is an Edit button. You must Edit each Posted Link individually.
How do I share a Posted Link?
Sharing links is simple! There is a "Share" link just above the "Add a Comment" link in the Posted Links gadget, or you can click on the "Share" link on the specific Posted Link's page. Once you click on the link, just fill out the information in the pop-up form and send the link to your Friends.
